Singles Mentoring Sessions and Singles Draw
This year, the Games Committee introduced a new event - Singles games mentoring. Open to all members to assist our members to feel comfortable playing singles games.
May 23 and May 30, 2019 we conducted mentored singles matches. Coaches and experienced bowlers were on hand to explain the differences in singles play and to help members have fun in no pressure singles games.

Mary Hargreaves receives a special certificate from V & D
Special Recognition to Mary Hargreaves April 9, 2019
|
From David Arnott V&D President
On behalf of the V&D board of directors, a special certificate was presented to Mary Hargreaves, at the SAGM on Saturday April 6th, in recognition of her years of service not only to the V&D Board but to the Juniors program which she personally chaired and mentored for several years. Mary was a high level
bowler in her own right and her expertise was invaluable to the many young bowlers in her program. With her enthusiasm, coaching and encouragement Mary successfully introduced many new bowlers to our sport. Provincial, national and international Junior competitors benefited from Mary’s mentor-ship.
